How to capture deals

Sign up for an account

Ensure you have an account on our app, if you don't have one yet you can sign up at https://app.compliancerealtor.com

After signing up, use the live chat in the bottom right hand corner to let us know that you've signed up so we can enable the Principal Portal on your account.

Access the Principal Portal

After logging in to the app, access the Principal Portal by clicking on the icon in your dashboard.

The Deals tab

The Deals tab shows your current month's deals. You can see whether a deal has been invoiced or not, as well as the invoice number if it has been invoiced. You can also see the Compliance Realtor fee for specific deals, which is automatically calculated.

Capturing a deal

You can register a deal on our app by clicking on the "Add Deal" button. This will open up a popup where you can populate the deals' information.

Deal Type

We've added 3 types of deals:

Sale: Select this if the deal you're adding is a Sale

Rental: Select this if the deal you're adding is a Rental

Monthly Total: Select this if you're only capturing your month's total deals. This can also be used to capture multiple deals, such as recurring rentals.

Date of registration

This would be the date the deal has been registered. This date determines for which month you'll be invoiced, and is also used to calculate your monthly totals.

Total Commission

This is set to be the total commission you've made on the deal. The app will calculate our percentage based on this amount, so it needs to be accurate.

Description

This is an arbitrary description used to keep track of deals. A useful description would be to set it to the address of the property in the case of a sale or a rental, or you can set this to "December Totals" if you're only submitting December's total sales.

Invoice Immediately

You can choose to invoice this deal immediately by ticking this box. If ticked, you'll receive an invoice shortly after submitting the deal via email. Alternatively, you will be invoiced on the 1st of the next month for any deals that have not yet been invoiced.

Invoicing

Deals are invoiced either as you add them (Invoice Immediately), or on a monthly basis, on the 1st of the month. If you'd like to receive an invoice for your currently registered and unpaid deals, you can simply click on the Invoice All button. An invoice will be created for all your uninvoiced deals, and be sent to you via email within a few minutes.

If you have deals that have already been invoiced and your monthly minimum has not been reached, you will be invoiced for the balance of your monthly minimum fee.

If you don't have any deals registered at the end of the month, you will automatically be invoiced your monthly minimum fee.
